Harvey has over 35 years of business experience, including IT and business management experience.

At Intel Corporation, he headed business applications, European IT, Production Planning, and Japanese subcontracting. At AMD, he led the Business Planning, Information Architecture, and Project Management areas for IT. In these roles, he participated in system selection from both the business and the Information Technology point of view. 

His other experience includes Vice President of a software company serving the semiconductor industry, and, quite recently, CIO for a Frequency Control manufacturer at which he was responsible for, among other things, installation of a global ERP system, installation of a CRM system, and preparing the IT organization for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Mr. Schmit has consulted for several prominent Silicon Valley companies on a broad range of planning, assessment, and project management assignments. He holds a BA from University of Wisconsin and an MBA in International Management from Golden Gate University.
