Dave has over thirty years of experience as a senior business and technology executive.  He has been a leader in changes that have helped to transform companies, and prior to becoming a consultant, he was the VP/GM of Chevron Information Technology. 

Dave’s success in driving transformational change has been to follow a three step process of (1) ensuring that there is a clear technology strategy aligned with the business, (2) identifying and formulating the processes critical to delivering that strategy, and (3) aligning the operations with these processes and identifying the cultural changes needed for successful implementation.  Key to the success of this process has been Dave’s experience in forming partnerships  between IT and the business functions that really work. 

Dave is also an expert in Applications Portfolio Management, a tool used to evaluate a company’s IT investments in terms of the functional quality, technical quality, business value and cost of the applications being developed or purchased. 

He has a BS in Mathematics from the Uinversity of Alabama and is a graduate of the Duke University Advanced Management Program.
